Choose a tool for your task
- Word & Character Counter
- Check words, characters with and without spaces, and estimated reading time. Use a target to track a limit, then confirm the count in the destination system.
- Text Diff Checker
- Compare two drafts line by line or word by word. Ignore case or whitespace only when those differences are unimportant to the review.
- Case Converter
- Change capitalisation or identifier style. Preview the output because automatic title casing cannot decide every proper name or editorial convention.
- Slug Generator
- Create a URL-friendly string with configurable separators and length. This prepares a slug; it does not reserve a URL or guarantee uniqueness.
Prepare a draft for a strict limit
- Paste the draft into Word Counter and choose the correct target: words or characters. Most character limits include spaces, but the destination rules decide.
- Edit the draft and compare it with the original in Text Diff Checker to confirm no essential details disappeared.
- Paste the final version into the submission system. Unicode characters and word boundaries can be counted differently, so its counter is the final check.
What these tools can and cannot tell you
Reading time is an estimate, sentence counting is approximate and Unicode code points can differ from visible characters. Keyword frequency helps reveal repetition; it is not a search ranking target. A generated slug may collide with an existing one and must be checked where it will be published.
